Finally Feeling Settled!!!!

Last July T and I bought a house in Bonney Lake and moved in. We immediately unpacked the essentials and the rest of our belongings remained unpacked in boxes in the garage for the last six months. Today we finally finished unpacking the garage and can actually park a car in there! So what got us motivated ........ I'll just say one name Lea, my mom. Now anyone who knows my mom knows that once she has a mission it will get done and this weekend her mission was my house and the baby's room. Normally when it comes to a project like moving and fun things like putting away baby stuff I am just like my mother ..... get her done! Being pregnant and working full time has put a damper on my usual attitude towards such projects. I have found that laziness when I am not at work is the only survival mode I have especially when it comes to relieving my oh so achy cankles (yes they are huge and after 10 hours on the job they are enormous). So a huge shout out to my mom for cleaning my house and helping me organize the baby's room. Another huge accomplishment is the organization of the garage which T did such a good job. In one day he installed shelves, organized all the stuff that was cluttered everywhere in there, and helped put together projects in the house as well. He was amazingly patient and would drop what he was doing to come help in the house whenever we needed him and did it with a smile and a yes dear, which I loved. I'm sure he is just loving having a pregnant wife around who now tends to panick every once in while on whether or not we are prepared and ready. :) Here are some photos of the finished baby's room and I also added some photos of the fun snow activities. When we had several inches of snow T got out my quad and pulled some cousins and brothers around on tubes.

Holiday Fun!

Time for an update! For Thanksgiving T and I went to Cheney to spend the holiday with Rocky and Janelle. We left super early on Thanksgiving day and arrived around 10am. Janelle cooked a fabulous dinner with the most moist turkey I have ever eaten! After dinner we played cranium and Rocky and T won every game. We stayed all weekend and also went Christmas tree hunting with them one day which was so fun because it had snowed! Here are some fun photos from our weekend of fun!

The weekend after Thanksgiving was the holiday parade in Sumner. Jordan was marching with the band so we went down to the parade and enjoyed Jordans performance as well as see Santa!

This weekend my mom's boyfriend got us tickets to see an singing group called the Coates for the their Holiday concert. We had alot of fun they were amazing singers and put on a really good show!

28 Weeks and Counting

I have been meaning to post pregnancy pictures for sometime for my SIL's and have just been lazy. Tonight when I got home for work I sent T upstairs to retrieve me some pajama pants to change into. He, being a the very loving husband that he is, ran upstairs and proceeded to pick a pair that were a bit snug pre-pregnancy. Upon informing him there was no way they were going to fit he traded me pants instead of going back upstairs for another pair - perfect photo op!

Halloween and Fun Videos!

I love Halloween! About a week ago T and I went to Spooner Farms in Sumner and picked pumpkins to be carved! It was kinda of a bummer trip because non of the fun stuff like the corn maze and apple cider booth were open! I guess we just arrived too early everything opened at 3 and we went early to try and beat the after school rush. We will know for next year! We went straight home to carve our pumpkins and T's brother Brad came over to join in the festivities. The night before we purchased a pumpkin carving kit at Freddy's for $2 that had outlines and two tiny carving knives and a scraper. The boys of course made a competition out of it and picked the two hardest outlines to see who could do it better. Tonight we finally got them on the front porch for display. T and I also got to go to a Mariner's game and a Seahawk's game. We lost the Mariner's game but we won the Seahawk's game (the only one they have won this season we must be good luck charms!)

A Birthday For A Very Special Friend

Today is my very best friends' birthday. We have always been friends ever since I could remember she was there. We spent every extra moment together, inseparable I guess you could say. She knew me better than anyone else and loved me in all my glory and in all my not so pretty stages of life and attitude. She never judged and always had an open mind about everything. When she was seven she was diagnosed with Leukemia. On and off for the next 13 years she battled. Other than the physical alteration of having no hair you would never know she was sick. My heart aches for her for all the things that she missed out on due to her illness that a normal teenager would have taken for granted, including myself: Junior High, High School, boyfriends, graduation, college, love. Yet she never once complained and continued to live life to her fullest until she lost her battle on August 21. 2005. She was, is, and probably will always remain the most caring and unselfish person I have ever known. I miss her everyday. She was truly an angel on earth and I would not be the person I am today with out her unconditional love and friendship. So to my friend on her birthday - I love you, miss you and will always remember the good days. Thank you for always being you and teaching me how to be true to myself.

First Camping Trip of the Year

The weather was on the nicer side this weekend so T and I decided to go camping at Lake Trask ( a lake that my family owns property on near Shelton). So we packed the fishing poles and the quads and headed out early Saturday morning. We had lots of fun. Saturday was just gorgeous! We rode alot and fished alot! Both of my parents own their own lots so it was fun seeing my dad this weekend he is like a whole new man out in the wilderness. It is like he is young again. We brought hotdogs to eat and the only condiment we had for them was ketchup (my fav) T was a little disappointed that there was no mustard and relish so he loaded up his hotdog with more ketchup then I think I have ever seen on a hotdog! It was pretty funny watching him eat it! We did lots of hill climbs on the quads so I could conquer my fear and it seemed to work. T got up early on Sunday (5am) and went fishing with some friends of ours he came back around 10 with a 3.5lb trout!!! Lake Trask is a fishing only lake there are no motor boats aloud but this is by far in the 15years I have been going there the biggest fish I have seen come out of the lake! T learned to do something called trolling with a fly fish of course now he wants one of his own.

Lazy Poster!

I have been soooooo lazy about taking pictures off my camera so here are some fun things we have been upto over the last month or so!

T and I bought some new toys - Quads to be exact. He got a TRX450 and I got a TRX 250! We have taken them out a couple of times and absolutly love them! Here are photos from our first outing with our new toys!

A few weeks ago Hunter and some of his friends were playing with air soft guns in the backyard so T and Brad got a bright idea to ambush them with T's guns! After they recruited jordan they went in for the attack! Here are some vidoes from that!
